Temperature sensor knowledge and its development history

Many friends don't know much about temperature sensors, and some people don't even know what temperature sensors are. Here is an introduction to the temperature sensor and its development history.

temperature sensor

A temperature sensor refers to a sensor that can sense temperature and convert it into a usable output signal. The temperature sensor is the core component of the thermometer, and there are many varieties. The temperature sensor measures the ambient temperature very accurately, and is widely used in agriculture, industry, workshops, warehouses and other fields.

In 1600 AD, Galileo developed a gas thermometer. A hundred years later, it developed into the ultimate thermometer and mercury thermometer. With the development of modern industrial technology, wire resistance, thermoelectromotive force components, and bimetallic temperature sensors have been developed one after another. After 1950, semiconductor thermistors were developed and produced one after another. In recent years, with the rapid development of raw materials and processing technology, various types of temperature sensors have emerged.
